Farming

We will support projects which encourage farm businesses to invest in innovative practices and new technologies to help them become more sustainable and productive.

The types of projects we want to fund:

  • We particularly welcome projects to improve the processing, marketing and distribution of local products. Projects should improve the links and networks for local products and raise their profile; improving consistency of supply and quality of products to access larger markets.

Applications for projects to improve the overall performance and sustainability of an agricultural holding, improving animal health and welfare and reservoirs and irrigation are now closed to new Expressions of Interest.  Alternative funds are available from the Countryside Productivity Scheme.
